About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic certified educators for the 2026-27 school year. We are accepting resumes for bilingual teachers certified by the State of New Jersey to teach in our bilingual classrooms at various grade levels and content areas, in Spanish or Bangla and English. Highest need areas are middle school and high school content areas, especially math and science. While we are most in need of Spanish-speaking bilingual teachers, we also have a need for Turkish, Bangla, and Arabic-speaking bilingual teachers at times.
Certificates must be issued prior to beginning the position. Viable candidates must hold certificates issued by the New Jersey Department of Education, or meet the requirements for certification, with an endorsement in Bilingual Bicultural Education AND in one or more of the following areas:
- Preschool through Grade 3
- Kindergarten through Grade 6
- ESL
- Middle School ELA
- Middle School Math
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- English
- Social Studies
- Middle School Social Studies
- Middle School Science
- Physics
Pending budget availability.
Qualifications
- Must hold a New Jersey Bilingual certificate with an instructional certificate in line with the content/grade level appropriate for the position held.
- Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLAD.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language.
- Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction.
- Experience working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character.
- Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others.
- Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community.
