P&L Transfer Technician

Location: Bucyrus, OH

Schedule

• Full-Time, Monday–Friday (shift assigned based on business needs)
• Weekend overtime may be required

About the role

As a Transfer Technician, you'll play a key role in safely and efficiently transferring flour products while supporting production schedules, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring high-quality products reach our customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product transfers with the mill and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Operate transfer equipment safely while following all GMP, food safety, and company policies.
• Complete required production documentation, including transfer, tailings, magnet, ingredient, bin inspection, and sifter maintenance logs.
• Perform sifter maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, and repairing sieves while following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by supporting daily housekeeping and sanitation efforts.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to resolve issues and support daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, food production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, solve problems, and adapt to changing production priorities.
• Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and quality standards.
