What the Role Involves

  • Supporting classroom teachers across KS3, KS4, and sixth form to deliver high-quality, intellectually demanding lessons
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils to provide targeted academic support and extension activities
  • Contributing to the school's university preparation programme including Oxbridge and competitive university guidance
  • Tracking pupil progress and feeding back regularly to class teachers and subject leads

What the School Is Looking For

  • The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from Oxford or Cambridge University - this is an essential requirement for this role.
  • Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • The school is seeking a reflective, intellectually driven, and committed Oxbridge Graduate with excellent communication skills, genuine academic breadth, and a clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching or education.

Salary and Contract Info

  • £500 to £560 per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
  • Term-time only
  • Potential for extended contracts or teacher training pathways following a successful placement
