About the role
Advantage Point Group is seeking an Owners Representative with mechanical construction experience for a 6-month position at an industrial plant in Cordova, IL to monitor a fire project replacement project.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of construction activities on large chemical manufacturing facilities
- Ensuring contractors complete work safely and in compliance with the contract
Requirements
- 12 years previous experience in industrial/heavy commercial construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage similar project types, sizes, and complexities
- Construction experience with fire protection equipment upgrade projects
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle political aspects of a large corporate environment
Qualifications
- 12-hour shift, 6 days per week
- No work on Sundays
Skills
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Knowledge of fire protection systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Pay Rate: $50-$65 per hour depending upon previous experience and qualifications
