Owner Reporting Analyst, Senior

About the role

The Sr. Analyst, Owner Reporting is responsible for managed client financial planning, including creating and presenting managed client operating budgets and financial workbooks. This role also creates and presents client operations summaries, and non-standard or customized analysis and reporting. The position collaborates with departments such as HR, Maintenance, and Operations at EJM and includes corporate FP&A analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage client workbooks and provide monthly or quarterly updates, including budget updates, variance analysis, summary updates, operational updates, and additional analysis or reporting as requested or customized for each client.
• Create annual operating budgets for new and existing managed clients and occasionally sales prospects.
• Understand aircraft expenses to discuss with both new and existing clients.
• Update monthly budget and operations reporting, including variance analysis.
• Update monthly client operations reporting.
• Create new reporting solutions to address unique client requests.
• Provide and present business review materials to support client meetings and ad hoc requests.
• Utilize critical thinking and logic skills to solve client requests.

Note: Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business.
• 4-6 years of experience in financial/operational analysis and/or planning.
• Proven ability to draw unique insights from data and information.
• Experience leading strategic projects in sales/account management functions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of presenting complex information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with financial planning & analysis concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Tableau report building experience required.
• Aviation experience preferred.
