Las Vegas, NV based route running to AZ, CA, and UT, averaging 3,000 miles per week.
About the role
Average annual earnings of $200–250K with bi-weekly home time. Compensation package includes hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.
Responsibilities
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Operates tractor-trailer units.
- Adheres to weight limits and ensures proper utilization of the units.
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste and non-hazardous waste; properly secures the loads.
- Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and regulations.
- Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
