Overnight Warehouse Receiver

Pay

$22.25/hour plus $1.00 differential.

Schedule

11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday.

Position Purpose

Responsible for having a strong understanding of the entire warehouse and receiving procedures, including products, receiving procedures, and back stock put-away procedures. A receiver moves product off trucks, monitors product quality, enters it into inventory, and properly stages it in its respective location.

Responsibilities

• Verifies quantities of product received against the packing slip/purchase order
• Checks and reports any damage found due to refrigeration, travel, or handling by inbound freight company
• Sorts or breaks down all incoming product
• Builds steady wrap pallets to be put into back stock reserves
• Ensures that all labeling of product and pallets are accurate for put-away
• Performs duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures

Skills

• Understand and properly follow all receiving procedures, including how to use RF systems
• Understand all paperwork related to receiving, including how to read and use Purchase Order (PO) receivers, Bills of lading, and packing lists
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Good judgment, as there may be times when direct supervision is not immediately available
