Overnight Warehouse Coordinator
About the role
A Warehouse Coordinator supports warehouse operations by ensuring inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed. This role coordinates various activities such as shipping, receiving, and stock management to maintain smooth and efficient operations. The role collaborates with warehouse staff and management to meet operational goals while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Plans and prioritizes workload to meet department and organizational needs
- Follows instructions promptly and efficiently, taking initiative when necessary
- Communicates regularly with supervisor about ongoing operations
- Performs logistic department functions accurately and timely, as required
- Assists other department personnel during absences of facility personnel
- Adheres to safe work procedures
- Communicates professionally and courteously
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
- 10 key skills including working knowledge of warehousing functions, understanding of warehouse equipment operations and safety issues, detail-oriented customer service skills, planning and organizational skills, good judgment, frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Prior warehouse clerical experience
- Frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Knowledge of warehousing functions
- Understanding of warehouse equipment operations and safety issues
- Detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Good judgment
