Overnight Veterinary Technician

PAW Health Network is a 24-Hour Animal Care Center offering diverse services, including walk-ins, routine preventative care, emergency and urgent care, massage therapy, and more. Responsibilities

• Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Diagnostic imaging
• Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases
• Administration of medications
• Effective communication of treatment plans with clients
• Surgical preparation and assistance
• Anesthetic management

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (1+ year experience preferred but not required)
• High work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to arrive on time and ready to work
• Weekend availability (36 hours a week, 12-hour shifts)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to interpret medical records and record client history accurately
• Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
• Proficiency in pet restraint, sample collection, and laboratory procedures
• Skill in positioning and capturing radiographs (dental radiographs a plus)
• Proficiency in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
• Self-starter with a desire for continuous learning
• Ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionally
