Overnight Surveillance Security Agent

About the role

As a Surveillance Security Officer with GardaWorld Security Services in Carteret, NJ, you will use sharp observation skills to monitor screens and detect threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid NJ SORA license
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process

Skills

• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $16.50 per hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Part-time schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, overnight shifts from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m.
