About the role

Hollywood Palladium seeks an Overnight Supervisor to monitor venue premises, oversee cleaning, ensure security, and assist with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor venue premises to prevent theft and infractions of rules.
• Oversee the overnight cleaning crew.
• Reset the venue for the following event.
• Ensure the venue is secure at the end of the shift.
• Perform some light laundry assistance.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 10 feet high.
• Take notes of any damage to the venue.
• Communicate with the operations team.
• Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean, and presentable to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints or problems.
• Provide assistance to guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.
• Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.
• May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.
• Aid patrons by giving directions inside or outside the venue.
• Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.

Qualifications

• Constant walking, climbing stairs, and occasional sitting, lifting, and carrying up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work nights.

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $20.00 USD - $25.00 USD per hour. Pay is based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Schedule

The Overnight Supervisor works nights.
