About the role

The Overnight Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding safety protocols, treating customers and colleagues with respect, and performing various tasks across different store areas.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and practices safety measures.
  • Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment.
  • Treats customers and associates respectfully and courteously.
  • Assists customers with merchandise, answers questions, and greets them.
  • Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls.
  • Represents the company brand consistently.
  • Performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company guidelines.
  • Follows loss prevention policies and processes.
  • Communicates effectively with customers, associates, and leadership.
  • Manages work processes and maximizes productivity.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical calculations.

Physical Requirements/ADA

  • Ability to use all store equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to lift and push/pull more than 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment and other assigned supplies.

The base pay range for this role is $17.60 - $18.10. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

In addition, all Full-Time Associates, including FT Retail Associate, Area Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, are eligible for extended benefits offered including Medical/Dental/Vision Health Insurance, Legal Insurance, Vacation Buy, Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, Life/ADD Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Enhanced Maternity and Parental Leave Benefit, Vacation Pay accrued at a rate of 10 days/year after eligibility commences, 9 Personal and Company Holidays. AS, ASM and SM Associates in Stores and Exempt Corporate and Buying Office roles are also eligible to receive a Bonus based on individual and business performance.
