Overnight Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities
The Overnight Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the education and counseling of patients and filling of patient prescriptions. In addition, the Staff Pharmacist trains and manages pharmacy technicians and volunteer pharmacists, ensuring policies and protocols are followed in the absence of the Medical Director of Pharmacy and the Supervising Pharmacist.
- Fills patient prescriptions and answers provider questions.
- Provides counseling on both prescription and over‑the‑counter medications in accordance with APhA guidelines.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers.
- Participates in quality improvement programs.
- Assists with medication ordering and maintenance of appropriate inventory controls within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Current and valid New York State Pharmacy license.
- Community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations is essential.

Pay
This position is posted with a salary range; the actual rate of pay offered will be based on a variety of individualized factors, including skills, relevant experience, educational background, internal equity, and market considerations.
Schedule
Full‑time; Monday–Thursday, 10 p.m.–8 a.m. (non‑operating hours).
