About the role

At Pediatric Home Service, RNs and LPNs deliver personalized, 1:1 care that allows children with medical complexities to grow and thrive in the comfort of home. This position is based in Aurora, NE (68818) and involves overnight shifts Thursday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. caring for a 1‑year‑old child with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube. The team provides specialized, hands‑on training in ventilator, trach, and g‑tube care—no prior experience is required—and offers 24/7 support so you never feel alone.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1:1 nursing care for children with medical complexities
• Care for a 1‑year‑old child with tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube
• Deliver overnight care (Thursday‑Saturday, 10 p.m.–6 a.m.)
• Monitor and manage ventilator, trach, and g‑tube equipment
• Develop a meaningful connection with the child and family, tracking progress firsthand

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license
• Willingness to learn specialized pediatric skills (ventilator, trach, g‑tube care)
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
