Overnight Security Officer, Full Time, Chaminade Resort & Spa

About the role

The Security Officer position at Chaminade Resort & Spa is a pivotal role within the Pyramid Global Hospitality team. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the safety and security of guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ensure a safe working environment through preventive patrols and visible security presence.
• Promote peace and comfort on the premises, ensuring a non-threatening environment for guests and employees.
• Aid or seek assistance for individuals in danger or requiring medical attention.
• Respond to emergencies according to the Emergency Services Procedures.
• Affirm the security of guest and employee information in all forms of documentation.
• Avoid violations of liquor laws and assist in developing security-related training programs.
• Edit and review written records produced by Security Officers.
• Assist in other job classifications as directed by immediate superiors.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Two years of security or police experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• A degree in a safety, security, or hospitality-related field.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, preferred with instructor rating.
• High-quality written and oral communication skills.
