Duties
- Check personnel for proper identification and clearance.
- Permit and document authorized people to enter property and document anyone exiting.
- Conduct rounds throughout the building, maintain log book, and monitor alarm systems and video surveillance.
- Request emergency personnel for any high-risk situations.
- Sound alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire, difficulty with unauthorized people, or medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Security experience preferred.
- Must be able to write log entries and incident reports as needed.
- Must be in agreement with The Salvation Army’s Christian spiritual approach to rehabilitation.
- Certified in basic First Aid including Narcan administration or become certified within 60 days of hire.
