Overnight Security Officer
About the role
The Overnight Security Officer position at Hotel Jerome is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt role. The targeted compensation wage is $25/hr, and the position is offered through Auberge Collection.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure a safe environment for guests and Team Members.
- Check all designated points and document all actions taken.
- Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests and residents with room access.
- Investigate suspicious persons on property.
- Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest and resident complaints; complete documented reports.
- Respond to the scene of guest and Team Member accidents promptly; administer first aid/CPR; communicate specified information to E.M.S./medical personnel as required.
- Report to scenes of guests or Team Members fighting.
- Comply with state regulations and property guidelines for handling intoxicated guests and residents.
- Resolve safety hazard situations and coordinate towing of vehicles.
Qualifications
- 1-year experience as a Security Officer or equivalent.
- Valid drivers' license.
- Prior experience in a luxury environment is a plus.
