Overnight Security Officer

About the role

We help make your world a safer place. Are you interested in being part of our Security Team? Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, our Security Officers provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. No experience necessary — if you have retail, food service, or hospitality industry background, you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers

Requirements

• Must be able to work an overnight schedule
• Must have open availability on weekends
• Great customer service skills and ability to display professionalism
• Clean driving record required
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards

Physical requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time
• May involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• May include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• No prior security experience necessary — training provided
• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a great fit

Pay

$18.54/hour

Schedule

Overnight schedule with open weekend availability. Positions are full-time and part-time.
