Overnight Security Officer

About the role

The Overnight Security Officer position at Securitas requires a high school diploma or GED, 18 years of age or older, and intermediate computer skills. A customer service background is preferred, but not required. Security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances and patrol inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports

Requirements

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout the shift
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the background check process
