Overnight Maintenance Electrician

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a dynamic team in the roofing industry.

About the role

In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of machinery, whether mechanical, electrical, or PLC-controlled. You will perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical circuits and equipment.
• Work with EMT and Rigid conduit, including threading and bending EMT from 1/2" to 2".
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and have a strong understanding of AC and DC motor controls, variable frequency drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic controls based on wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs thoroughly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain high-quality standards while prioritizing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) considerations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Massachusetts.
• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, Email).
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled production lines.

Pay

Salary Range: $45 - $48 per hour, with a 20% shift differential based on education, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 6 PM to 6 AM
