About the role

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of the hotel property, guests, and associates through patrols, hazard identification, surveillance technology, and a visible security presence. You will collaborate with local emergency services, operate an incident reporting system, engage with guests, manage access control, and develop response protocols for security situations.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced security cameras and technology to monitor the property, detect threats, and prevent security breaches.
• Conduct regular safety audits to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Establish communication with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance emergency response capabilities.
• Operate a digital incident reporting system to document and resolve safety hazards, security breaches, or suspicious activities.
• Maintain a visible presence across the property, providing proactive assistance and fostering a sense of safety among guests and associates.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner while maintaining vigilant security measures.
• Utilize access control systems to safeguard restricted areas and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Develop and communicate response protocols to empower security staff to handle critical situations swiftly and effectively.
