Overnight Kennel Attendant

About the role

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a pet adoption center. Oversee the placement of pets in suitable homes, conduct adoptions, and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the adoption process from intake to placement
• Conduct home visits to ensure a safe environment for pets
• Communicate with potential adopters and provide guidance on pet care
• Update and maintain records of all pets and adoptions
• Collaborate with local animal shelters and rescue organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Psychology, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in pet care or animal welfare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Knowledge of animal behavior and training
• Experience with pet insurance and veterinary services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
