About the role

Live Long Well Care of Pawley's Island, SC is seeking overnight full-time and part-time caregivers to assist seniors with ADLs, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide mobility assistance
• Prepare and cook meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Handle grocery shopping and errands
• Support dementia/alzheimer’s clients
• Provide companionship and pet care
• Represent the company positively
• Document services accurately and report changes promptly
• Communicate sensitively and respond to client needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of relevant experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
• Up-to-date smartphone for time and attendance tracking
• No substantial findings on state aide registry
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform non-personal activities of daily living
• Pass competency testing on hire and ongoing for essential tasks

Qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
