Job Summary

Aids the department manager in achieving sales and profit targets set for the department. Restocks products overnight. Enhances customer confidence and loyalty through consistent and compliant operations. Ensures fresh and appealing products, provides courteous and knowledgeable service.

About the Role

Ensures the department meets plan specifications. Maintains high standards for product availability, freshness, and condition. Manages inventory and reports discrepancies. Adheres to food safety guidelines and executes recalls.

Responsibilities

• Creates welcoming, valued customer environment
• Maintains merchandise displays according to plan
• Ensures shelves are stocked and conditions meet company standards
• Assists customers in finding or suggesting products
• Reports inventory discrepancies and quality issues
• Maintains proper temperatures and records temperature logs
• Enforces safety protocols and reports unsafe conditions
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
• Notifies management of accidents and reports safety risks
• Follows wage and hour policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the US or ability to obtain authorization
• Pre-employment drug testing and background check
• Strong customer service skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
• Experience in supervising others (0-3 years preferred)
