Position Overview

In this leadership role, you will support management by embracing key responsibilities such as coaching, training, scheduling, payroll, and interviewing new colleagues. You will guide and mentor Front Office colleagues, ensuring the check-in experience is smooth and that our guests receive timely information about hotel services and promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and clear communication, and develop positive working relationships among the Front Office team.
  • Oversee guest registration processes and confirm forms of payment.
  • Aid in handling inquiries, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for both colleagues and guests, facilitating a positive, engaging experience.
  • Perform nightly audit functions, including but not limited to reconciling financial truncations, processing end-of-day reports, verifying and reconciling guest accounts, and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system.

Qualifications

  • Desired Qualities:
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations.
  • Previous overnight experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to train, motivate, and guide a diverse team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful experiences.
  • A genuine desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends and holidays; availability to work overnight required.
  • Able to stand for long periods.
