Overnight Freezer Lift Operator

Job Responsibilities
- Use a Reach Lift to move products within the warehouse.
- Inspect assigned lift and complete vehicle inspection sheet.
- Replenish pick slots using the view request screen or manual replenish screen.
- Report to the shipping office at the start of each shift for daily assignments, vehicle inspection sheet, and replenishment discrepancies sheet.
- Maintain correct counts and log any discrepancies in inventory.
- Verify the correct product is placed in the appropriate pick location.
- Remove all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles.
- Separate good, bad, and blue pallets and neatly stage in pallet staging area.
- Operate the lift safely and efficiently, park, and recharge lift at the end of the shift.
Job Requirements
- Understand procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions and to deal with ordinary, standardized situations.
- Able to perform very basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing two-digit numbers; the four basic arithmetic operations with money; and operations with units such as inch, foot, yard; ounce, and pound.
- Able to read and communicate in English.
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
- Previous Warehouse/High Reach experience preferred.
Physical Environment/Demands
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
- Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation.
- Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist, and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
