About the role

An Overnight Floor Technician operates cleaning equipment, maintains assigned areas, and ensures exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate carpet shampooer and buffer
• Ensure appropriate chemicals are used when cleaning and mix chemicals as needed
• Move furniture and clean assigned areas
• Maintain and clean machines after use
• Report any problems to the Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Mop, scrub, rinse, and polish hard floors
• Move, rearrange, and clean furniture
• Operate and control mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers, and back vacuums
• Recognize and use appropriate chemicals
• Provide exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Previous janitorial experience preferred
• Experience as a cleaner or equivalent role
• Excellent oral communication skills
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax preferred
• Working knowledge of heavy-duty equipment
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs

Pay

$17.00 per hour
