Overnight Experienced Baker

About the role

The Bakery Team Member is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting fresh bakery products to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. They provide excellent guest service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering product suggestions. The role involves following established recipes, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench work and prepare products per scratch recipes.
• Bake products at proper times and temperatures, including donuts and other baked goods.
• Manage product proofing, freezing, and freshness controls.
• Assist customers by greeting, answering questions, and suggesting products.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards for equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Record special orders accurately and ensure product quality through proper rotation and dating.
• Unload deliveries and prepare ingredients for baking operations.
• Support other bakery functions as needed to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• 6 to 12 months bakery or related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet age requirements of 18+.
• Understanding of bakery ingredients and processes.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to safety and sanitation.
