Rogers Group Inc is seeking an individual for the Overnight Excavator Operator position in Ennis Texas.

Responsibilities

• Operate an excavator and/or dozer with a high degree of competency, skill and proficiency in challenging and unique terrain environments
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Effective communication skills applicable to position
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
• Properly follow all company policies MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Assist with other duties at the discretion of management

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating large dozers, excavators, or similar heavy machinery preferred
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed
