Overnight, Evening and Weekend Senior Youth Worker with 1000 Hiring Bonus

About the role

You will provide support, basic needs, and encouragement to youth ages birth - 17 years of age and youth ages 16-24 experiencing homelessness. You will provide coverage to shelter/Transitional Living Programs primarily Thursday - Sundays from 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with youth to help them identify immediate needs and/or plan next steps towards stability and how to advance towards those steps.
• Respond to crisis and emergent needs of youth seeking shelter.
• Must be able to pass a DHS level background check.
• Must be able to pass a driver's eligibility check.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must work evenings, overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with youth preferred but not required.
• Experience with homeless, at-risk youth or children or youth who have been removed from their homes.
• Effective working knowledge of positive youth development, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care preferred.

Pay

Hiring range of $18.86-$21/hr.

Schedule

Thursday - Sundays from 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am.
