We are seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at Crestview Animal Hospital in Cumming, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
As an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian, you will:
- Comprehensively examine and assess patients
- Communicate with clients and educate them on their pets' care
- Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Manage pharmacy duties, including prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient operations
- Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols
- Attend daily rounds to uphold high standards
- Participate in practice management updates and training
Qualifications
- Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
- 1+ years of experience in emergency practice
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent surgical and dental skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- Ability to deal confidently and reassuringly with pets experiencing stress, illness, or pain

- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skill in examining and assessing animals
- Develop solutions to challenges related to managing a high-quality veterinary hospital
- Communicate diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients
