As a Dog Handler at our state-of-the-art facility, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, shaping the future of pet care while enjoying meaningful growth opportunities in a thriving industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create joyful experiences for dogs: monitor playtime, ensuring safety, positive interactions, and healthy energy levels.
  • Use positive reinforcement to encourage good behaviors and build trust.
  • Ensure top-notch care and safety: administer basic first aid and address emergencies with calm expertise.
  • Monitor dogs for signs of distress or illness and act promptly.
  • Manage individualized feeding schedules and dietary needs with precision.
  • Collaborate and communicate: maintain detailed daily logs on behavior, activities, and health.
  • Keep open communication with management and pet parents to build trust and peace of mind.
  • Maintain a safe, pristine environment: keep the facility clean, comfortable, and secure.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Grow your expertise: participate in workshops, training programs, and ongoing education in dog behavior, safety, and health.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service: welcome pet parents with warmth and professionalism.
  • Address questions and concerns with empathy and clarity, ensuring confidence in our care.

Requirements

  • Dog Lover Extraordinaire: your passion for animals shines through in everything you do.
  • Experience Preferred, Not Required: previous experience in dog handling, pet care, or related fields is a plus, but not necessary.
  • A willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong Communicator: you can effectively share information with pet parents, teammates, and management.
  • Team Player: collaboration is second nature to you, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eager to Learn: you’re excited to expand your knowledge of dog behavior, training, and health.
