About the role
The Overnight Crisis Worker is responsible for providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in the community.
- Assist individuals in accessing necessary resources and support services.
- Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using technology and software relevant to the job.
Skills
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment options.
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay
$20-$25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Evening and weekend shifts are required, with some flexibility within those timeframes.
