OVERNIGHT Commercial Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Overnight Commercial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other building equipment.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling services.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform urgent repairs as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of common household appliances and building systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
