About the role
Overnight shift position available in/near North Garden, VA. Shift hours are 8pm–8am, available Monday–Friday and Saturday–Sunday.
Requirements
- Must live within 25 miles of Charlottesville, VA
- At least 6 months caregiving experience OR CNA/HHA/PCA/DSP certification, OR willingness to be trained
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test
Job duties
- Companionship and conversation (when awake)
- Stand-by assist, mobility support, and transfers
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Support with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Light housekeeping
Pay
- Caregiver: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
- CNA: $19.00–$22.00 per hour
