Overnight Building Engineer

BM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Certified or Non-Certified Building Engineer to support designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work.
• Operate, maintain, and repair all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Respond to customer requests and submit/close work orders as necessary.
• Follow safe practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Operate or assist in operating heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons.
• Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
• Provide engineering support for systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions.
• Analyze and solve design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair issues for vehicles/equipment and their components.
• Logically approach problem-solving, define maintenance programs, and ensure safe and legal operations.
• Review Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers or component manufacturers.
• Develop solutions, implementation plans, project justifications, cost/benefit analyses, and manage project implementation.
• Coordinate warranty recovery on applicable SBs.
• Organize and manage priorities for assigned responsibilities to meet project deliverables and maintenance program changes.
• Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
• Engineering skill sets applicable to a range of systems, maintenance programs, and engines.
• Must meet all requirements to work in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available.
• Customer service experience.
• BOMA certification is optional.

Pay

Non-Certified: $46.26 per hour | Certified: $54.76 per hour (weekly pay). The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Schedule

• Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
