Overnight Bakery Production Team Member

Responsibilities

  • Identify and select ingredients to follow recipes
  • Scale given recipes to match production needs
  • Sheeting, shaping, and preparing doughs in a modern-manufacturing environment
  • Building composed desserts
  • Making housemade jams, fillings, mousses, etc.
  • Topping, finishing, and decorating desserts
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards (FDA Guidelines)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a high-volume bakery production, banquet production kitchen, restaurant kitchen, or similar environment is helpful, but we are open to training ambitious candidates who have a demonstrated interest in working as a bakery production team member
  • Passion for cooking with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness
  • Athletic ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, manipulate and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Qualifications

Your Recipe For Success: Ambitious candidates with a demonstrated interest in working as a bakery production team member, a passion for cooking with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness, and a desire to help where needed and work as part of a team. Spanish &/or Portuguese language skills a plus.
