Overnight Awake Counselor - Brain Injury Services

About the Role

Eliot is seeking a dedicated Overnight Awake Counselor to join our Brain Injury program, which provides high-quality, innovative programming to adults with brain injuries. This role supports individuals in enhancing their lives, developing personal skills, and engaging in community activities while building supportive relationships.

As an Overnight Awake Counselor, you will provide support to adults with cognitive and physical needs. This position requires you to be awake, alert, and available throughout the night to assist and support individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and training to promote personal growth and accomplishment
• Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and daily routines
• Administer medication according to MAP regulations
• Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary
• Report significant health, psychiatric, and behavioral issues

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Experience working with adults with brain injuries or developmental disabilities
• Ability to drive a residence van
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and personally owned vehicle

Pay

Hourly Rate: $20 USD

Schedule

Wednesday & Thursday, 11pm–7am (16 hours per week)
