Overview
Eliot – A Place to Belong, Grow, and Inspire Change is seeking an Overnight Awake Counselor to join its Brain Injury program. The position provides support to adults with cognitive and physical needs, promoting personal growth and accomplishment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and training to promote personal growth and accomplishment
- Provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation and daily routines. Administer medication according to MAP regulations
- Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary
- Report significant health, psychiatric and behavioral issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience working with adults with brain injuries or developmental disabilities
- Able to drive residence van
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle
Schedule
- Tuesday-Wednesday, Friday-Saturday, 11pm-7am (32 hours)
- Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7am (40 hours)
Pay
- $20 - $20 USD
