Overheard Internship - University Campus Social Media Manager

About the role

We’re recruiting a handful of college students to join our Campus Correspondent program to capture the hyper-specific shared experience of your school. If you always know what’s going on, can get strangers to spill their hot takes, and want to be the face of your campus for Overheard, this is for you. This is a remote internship position.

Responsibilities

• Create 3 short-form videos per month capturing the funniest and most relatable parts of college life
• Create a mix of street interviews, talk-to-camera videos, campus vlogs, static content, and written posts using prompts from our content calendar
• Report on campus trends, traditions, and major events to help shape future content planning

Requirements

• Comfortable on camera and confident approaching strangers for interviews
• Experienced filming and editing TikToks or Reels
• Deeply tapped into your campus culture and stereotypes
• Reliable, creative, and funny
• Must be a current college student with availability to receive internship credit
