Overhead Crane Operator/Loader - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Understand the products handled, including color coding and customer specifications; read and interpret all measuring devices
- Unload and receive inbound stock shipments and load outbound shipments, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Safely load trucks, including proper chaining and tarping of trailers
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution environment
- Valid certification to operate overhead cranes is required
- High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of DOT regulations regarding load weight
- Ability to follow safety protocols and operational procedures
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn new skills and train others
- Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
- Demonstrated reliable work history
- Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks
Schedule
2:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.
