Ovens and RTO Specialist​

About the role

The Ovens/RTO Specialist will develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations. They will also direct and support Oven/RTO installation, debug and troubleshooting, and review electrical circuitry design.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations
• Direct and support Oven/RTO installation, debug and troubleshooting
• Review electrical circuitry design and correct inaccuracies
• Cooker/RTO installation, validation and launch of conveyor system controls coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Manufacturing or other degree combined with equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of automotive paint manufacturing experience
• Experience with Paint Oven/Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO) processes
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Suite
• Ability to travel and work overtime as required
• Understanding of Oven/RTO control systems
• Experience with Oven cure application software Exposure to pretreatment, e-coat and primer/powder paint processes
• Knowledge of PFMEA
• Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing
• Knowledge of Focused Problem Solving
• Knowledge of Fiat Chrysler Systems (FIS, AVI, PFCS) a plus

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a background check

Skills
