About the role
The Ovens/RTO Specialist will develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations. They will also direct and support Oven/RTO installation, debug and troubleshooting, and review electrical circuitry design.
Responsibilities
- Develop scopes of work and specifications for Ovens/RTO control modifications or new installations
- Direct and support Oven/RTO installation, debug and troubleshooting
- Review electrical circuitry design and correct inaccuracies
- Cooker/RTO installation, validation and launch of conveyor system controls coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry or Manufacturing or other degree combined with equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of automotive paint manufacturing experience
- Experience with Paint Oven/Regenerative Thermal Oxidation (RTO) processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Suite
- Ability to travel and work overtime as required
- Understanding of Oven/RTO control systems
- Experience with Oven cure application software Exposure to pretreatment, e-coat and primer/powder paint processes
- Knowledge of PFMEA
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Focused Problem Solving
- Knowledge of Fiat Chrysler Systems (FIS, AVI, PFCS) a plus
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
Skills
