Essential Position Responsibilities
- Maintains client relationships by monitoring client needs and building value into professional service
- Manages accounting service department team members in the local market
- Manages accounting projects to meet client needs within a specified time frame
- Works closely with clients to assess general accounting needs
- Prepares complex reports, returns, and other documents as required, including sales tax reports, year-end tax forms, financial statements, and other reports required by clients
- Calculates and reviews period-end journal entries and analyzes and provides guidance to clients on balance sheet accounts
- Completes the period-end process for clients
- Properly codes and completes data entry of bank statement and other bookkeeping transactions
- Reconciles bank accounts for clients
- Mentors and trains employees in the accounting services department
- Performs client billings for accounting services provided

Requirements
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 7+ years of bookkeeping experience required, including experience managing staff
- Valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred
