Withum's Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) brings clients into the digital age by providing scalable outsourced accounting and finance services that improve workflow and transparency. We help business owners focus on their passion while maintaining full knowledge of their financial standing. OASyS delivers stress-free, tailored financial solutions that save companies time and money. Our clients range from large organizations that prefer not to staff an accounting department to smaller entities or startups needing comprehensive support.

We are seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming school year to start with our November 2027 class.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Associates, Managers, and group Partners to support and balance multiple client needs.
• Manage bill payments, invoicing, and cash receipt applications for clients in a timely fashion.
• Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for clients.
• Run payroll and reconcile related journal entries.
• Assist with setup and implementation of new accounting systems and procedures based on client needs.
• Support various ad hoc accounting and reporting projects, both client-facing and internal.
• Communicate effectively and clearly with clients and coworkers across various channels.

Requirements

• Graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude toward new situations, including learning new software.

Pay

For positions in Washington, the compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $76,000. Final offer amounts are based on factors such as role, hiring location, and individual skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and a bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
