About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Outside Services Attendant to help create memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our golf facilities. In this role, you will welcome guests, maintain golf carts and practice facilities, support daily golf operations, and ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and ready for play. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, dependable, proactive, and passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced golf environment.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with guests with a warm welcome and willingness to assist.
- Serve guests with respect and courtesy in all interactions.
- Follow all opening and closing procedures for outside service areas.
- Set up and break down the driving range.
- Ensure range balls are cleaned after each pick and always ready for first tee.
- Keep Range Den Caddies filled with balls consistently.
- Change water buckets and club cleaners as needed.
- Clean spike cleaners daily and maintain the surrounding area.
- Pick practice balls from driving range tee boxes and range each night.
- Clean and ready all service work areas for the next day’s operations (bag drops, cart barn, driving range).
- Clean golf carts, stage them neatly and orderly with scorecard, pencil, sand and seed mix, bag straps clipped, and trash-free.
- Wash, dry, stock, and store all golf carts each night.
- Follow the golf car rotation strategy daily.
- Assist managers with daily and preventive maintenance of golf carts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of the game of golf, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service through every guest interaction to create repeat visits.
- Ability to go above and beyond to meet guest expectations.
- Professional appearance and adherence to golf dress code.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to learn the structure and function of all clubhouse and golf course areas.
- Basic mathematical ability, including counting and reconciling cash.
- Ability to learn and follow all safety, emergency, and accident prevention procedures.
- Able to use fire extinguishers and other emergency equipment to ensure personal and guest safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service/hospitality environment.
- Trained in First Aid, CPR & AED or able to complete training within 30 days of employment.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
Schedule
- Flexible schedule, which may require early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available to work anytime within the hours of 5:00 am to 7:00 p.m., any of the 7 days of the week (may be subject to change based on business need).
- Able to endure standing or moving for up to 85% of work shift (6.5 hours).
