Inside the Role

SelecTrucks of America is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to create new and maintain existing customers. Responsibilities include demonstrating and selling previously owned Freightliner and other brand commercial trucks, along with extended warranties, to customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Duties also involve maintaining inventory online, marketing it to prospective customers, and prospecting by phone, making appointments, and handling inquiries and customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and sell previously owned Freightliner and other brand commercial trucks and extended warranties to customers
• Maintain inventory online and market it to prospective customers
• Possess excellent customer experience management skills and use MS Office suite
• Handle incoming phone and internet inquiries and customer visits to the facility
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer experience management skills
• Customer mining experience
• Use of MS Office suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and self-motivated

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree preferred
• Previous sales experience preferred
• Transportation experience preferred
• Previous advertising or marketing experience preferred
• Ability to negotiate in a multicultural business environment preferred
• Class B CDL within first 180 days of employment preferred
