Responsibilities
- Secure orders, locate new customers, plan sales calls, and make presentations showcasing Sunstate Equipment's advantages.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships through respect and a genuine desire to serve customer needs.
- Provide trench safety and confined space-specific solutions, including engineered systems for site-specific applications.
- Engage in the early stages of project bids and instruct competent person training classes for excavation safety and confined space entry as needed.
- Keep customers informed about new products in Sunstate's equipment fleet.
Requirements
- 3 years outside sales experience in the construction industry.
- 2-3 years experience in the Trench Shoring industry is preferred.
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM programs.
- An efficient and effective communicator who holds themselves to the Sunstate standard of excellence.
- Intermediate competency with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P and OSHA 29 CFR 1910 as it pertains to excavation safety and confined space entry.
- Basic computer skills including average typing skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
