Outside Sales Support Specialist
About the role
The Outside Sales Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the outside sales team, facilitating efficient sales operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This role is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Aid outside sales representatives with preparing proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
- Process customer orders, quotes, and returns accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate account information, sales activities, and communication records.
- Cook up and distribute sales-related correspondence, marketing materials, and product information.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by sales management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support, administrative support, or customer service role.
- Proficiency in Google Suites.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial gases, welding equipment, or safety products is a plus.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is highly desirable.
