Outside Sales Support Specialist
About the role
The Outside Sales Support Specialist position is located in Salem, NH (NEA) and is open for immediate consideration. This role offers base pay plus bonus opportunities, Monday-Friday work schedule, and comprehensive family benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account managers to deliver exceptional customer care and solutions
- Ensure accurate and seamless order processing
- Craft precise quotes and nurture contract agreements
- Translate sales data and margin analysis into actionable insights
- Support the sales team with special pricing and cost requests
- Manage PSA and contract reviews, coordinate sales deal pricing in PAW, and implement pricing strategies
- Prepare business reviews and performance metrics for account managers
- Resolve customer pricing inquiries using the dispute workbench team
- Establish new accounts and ensure accurate system setup
- Transition customers onto Airgas.com
- Proactively review and optimize account pricing
- Coordinate and update contract pricing for designated districts, manage approvals within PROS
- Support and execute the Annual Price Increase (API) process
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years in a customer service and/or sales-related role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred from four-year College or University or one to two years of related experience and/or training
- Prior experience with SAP Order Entry Software preferred
