Outside Sales Representative - Will Train

Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver, recommending the best pest solutions tailored to each customer’s needs using in-depth training.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads (supported by a robust advertising budget).
- Schedule and conduct in-home sales appointments to explain Orkin’s products and services.
- Perform 360 inspections of customers’ homes (interior and exterior), identifying issues and making recommendations.
- Address customer questions, explain processes, and set clear expectations.
- Use a company-provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training included).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain required pesticide license/certification (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Work Environment
- Meet physical job requirements, including safely using a ladder within manufacturer weight limits.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, and other areas requiring climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
- Work in various weather conditions.
Pay
Competitive earnings ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 per year. During the initial 90-day training period, compensation is $28.85 per hour. After completing required licensure, the role transitions to an exempt structure with a base salary plus commission.
